But these Musical Stories are not just about beautiful music. They are also a way for me to fulfil my passion for supporting and promoting other great musicians. So far as part of this project, I have hosted star violinist Yury Revich, with his Stradivari in Rachmaninov video. As well as a fantastic violist, Professor Yuval Gotlibovich, with Le Grand Tango. Greek pop icon and up-and-coming New York rock star Marlain Angelides, also collaborated through a delicate combination of Schubert’s ‘Fantasia in F minor’ and Aerosmith’s rock ballad ‘Dream on’. Furthermore, I am forever grateful to the team at the beautiful Δημοτικό Θέατρο Λευκωσίας / Nicosia Municipal Theatre, who allowed me to use their space to record videos during lockdown. I chose this location in the hopes it would provide a taste of that theatrical atmosphere we were all craving.
